Assistant General Manager - Restaurant & Entertainment The Galley & The Adelphia Music Hall | Marietta, OH Join Our Leadership Team The Galley & The Adelphia Music Hall are looking for an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead daily restaurant and entertainment operations in Historic Marietta, Ohio. We are looking for a hands-on hospitality leader who knows how to create an outstanding guest experience, develop a strong team, maintain high operating standards, and keep things running smoothly in a fast-paced restaurant and live entertainment environment. What You'll Do Assist the General Manager with the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, and entertainment venue Lead and supervise front-of-house employees, including servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction Maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, organization, and safety Train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable for performance Assist with employee scheduling and daily staffing needs Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure strong communication and smooth restaurant operations Monitor service during busy periods and take an active role in solving operational issues Handle customer concerns professionally and find solutions that protect the guest experience Assist with opening and closing procedures Help monitor labor, inventory, sales, and other key operating areas Assist with live music, private parties, catering, special events, and large-volume events Help identify opportunities to improve sales, service, efficiency, and profitability Step in wherever needed to support the team and keep operations moving What We're Looking For Previous management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar, hospitality, or entertainment environment Strong knowledge of front-of-house restaurant operations Serving and bartending experience preferred Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate employees Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organization and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills Reliable, professional, and willing to lead by example Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events Must be willing to be a hands-on leader who is comfortable working alongside the team The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes ownership .
