Restaurant Manager The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant while ensuring excellent guest service, efficient operations, and a positive work environment. This position provides leadership to restaurant and bar staff, manages scheduling and inventory, and ensures the restaurant is properly prepared for daily service. Responsibilities Recruit, interview, hire, train, and onboard restaurant and bar staff. Create and manage weekly employee schedules based on business needs, events, and staffing levels. Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the restaurant is properly prepared and secured each day. Manage daily restaurant operations and ensure staff members are completing assigned responsibilities. Provide hands-on assistance to servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and other team members during busy service periods. Maintain a high standard of guest service and address guest questions, concerns, or complaints professionally. Supervise staff during service and provide ongoing coaching, direction, and performance feedback. Order liquor, beer, and wine and conduct and maintain inventory Schedule live music and entertainment based on the restaurant's event calendar, budget, and business needs. Handle employee call-outs and assist with finding coverage when necessary. Help resolve employee concerns and maintain a professional, team-oriented work environment. Work closely with ownership and other management to identify operational needs and opportunities for improvement. Qualifications Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality management experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities, supervising employees, and providing hands-on support during service. Weekend, evening, and holiday availability may be required based on restaurant operations and special events.

Pay:

$25.00 - $27.00 per hour
