Job Summary Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job description: Job Summary We are seeking a 24 hours a week Hourly Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. This position requires strong leadership skills, a background in food service management, and the ability to train and develop staff effectively.

Duties Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, cooking, and inventory control. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate transactions through POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS. Train and develop staff on food handling practices, customer service standards, and operational procedures. Supervise kitchen management activities to maintain quality control in food production and safety compliance. Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for efficient service during peak hours. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process for new team members. Collaborate with the General Manager on budgeting and financial planning to optimize restaurant performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, hospitality, and high morale among staff members. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the restaurant premises. Qualifications Proven experience in restaurant management or as an Assistant Manager in a quick-service or fast-food environment. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices within the food industry. Experience with inventory control and budget management is highly desirable. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences. Leadership abilities that promote effective team management and staff training initiatives. Familiarity with fine dining or casual dining experiences is a plus, along with banquet or catering knowledge. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with both staff and customers.
