Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, drive sales growth, and foster a positive environment for both customers and staff. Your leadership will ensure operational excellence, exceptional customer service, and effective team management. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Lead and manage all store activities, including sales, inventory control, merchandising, and customer service to meet or exceed business goals Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees while providing ongoing training and development to enhance team performance Supervise staff scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to ensure smooth daily operations Oversee purchasing, pricing strategies, and inventory management to optimize stock levels and product availability Implement effective merchandising and promotional strategies to attract customers and boost sales Maintain accurate bookkeeping, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) system management, and financial recordkeeping Foster a positive work environment through employee orientation, managerial communication, and leadership that encourages teamwork and accountability Qualifications Proven management experience within the food and beverage industry, including supervising teams in sales environments Strong skills in negotiation, recruiting, training & development, and employee orientation Extensive experience with POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and cash handling procedures Demonstrated leadership in retail store management with excellent organizational skills and time management abilities Knowledge of retail math, basic bookkeeping, payroll processing, and operational management practices Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in bar and restaurant or similar retail settings is preferred Exceptional communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and deliver excellent customer service Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus; experience in managing retail sales teams is essential Join us as a General Manager to lead with energy and purpose!
