The successful applicant must possess the following skills and attributes: 1. Above average interpersonal and leadership skills. Be the positive, first point of contact for all members and guests, creating a welcoming environment and always promoting the course in a professional and friendly manner. 2. Effectively and professionally assess, communicate, and coordinate with the club's Board of Directors, Course Superintendent, Staff, Members and other key Stakeholders to ensure the success of Rocky Kolls Golf Club. 3. Attention to detail, organization, and time management skills. 4. Flexibility with work hours to successfully meet the demands of the position. 5.
Ability to:
a. Successfully manage all aspects of the clubhouse's day-to-day operations including the golf shop and course play, grill and bar, on-course service(s), and special events. This includes, but is not limited to: personnel hiring, training, and scheduling; adherence to applicable industry standards, guidelines, and laws related to ordering, maintaining, preparing, and serving food and beverages; clubhouse cleanliness; and accountability of merchandise inventory and pricing while ensuring a positive revenue stream. b. Utilize basic computer programs and software to operate POS system and ensure course tee times and pace of play are efficiently scheduled (in collaboration with course. superintendent recommendations), monitored, and enforced to promote an enjoyable golf experience for members and guests while maximizing availability and course profitability. c. Accurately oversee Clubhouse-related financial reporting and controls in conjunction with the Club's external accountant. Reporting to the Board of Directors when required. d. Demonstrate a basic understanding of golf knowledge, play, and etiquette. e. Quickly resolve issues and conflicts.
