Job Description Essential Functions:
Responsible for overseeing employee performance and determining if they adhere to policies and procedures, which govern their performance while in charge or training. Adjusts duties so that the cleaning needs of the facility are met. Responds to special requests, completing them as soon as possible, giving suitable priority to immediate needs in patient care areas. Performs a variety of cleaning duties to ensure a set standard of cleanliness in the facility, as evidenced by good appearance of area upon check ups, positive feedback from staff using the areas cleaned, and minimal negative feedback. Assists Director with hiring, firing, discipline and counseling of subordinates. Contributes unbiased information for preparation of annual performance evaluations and reviews all evaluations with supervisor. Provides a safe environment through the proper operation, care and storage of equipment. All other duties as assigned.Additional Requirements Required:
Education- High School Diploma/GED Equivalent in
General Studies Preferred:
Experience- 1+ years of
Housekeeping/Custodian Experience Scheduling Requirements:
Requires the ability to work assigned schedules and hours as determined by the department.Physical Requirements:
Heavy work- exerting up to 25 pounds of force constantly (67-100% of the time), and/or up to 50 pounds frequently (34-66% of the time), and/or up to 100 pounds of force occassionally (up to 33% of the time), and or up to 100 pounds of force seldomly to move objects.
