Tenn Pin Alley is looking for a hands-on Kitchen Manager who can energize a team, deliver exceptional food, and make every guest's visit memorable. What You'll Own Set the pace for the kitchen by leading, training, scheduling, and motivating a dependable team. Manage and develop 20-30 inspiring team members to exceed guest expectation. Display financial skills by summarizing and analyzing information for sales, budgets, cost controls and service objectives. Exhibit our core values by creating innovating improvements and collaborating with others while being accountable for measurable, high quality and timely results. Keep food preparation and service moving efficiently while protecting quality, presentation, and ticket times. Create consistency guests can count on through strong recipes, portions, and operating standards. Take ownership of inventory, ordering, receiving, storage, and waste reduction. Help achieve food and labor cost goals through thoughtful planning and day-to-day decisions. Champion food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety on every shift. Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked, and inspection-ready kitchen. Partner with other managers to deliver smooth service during busy periods, parties, and special events. Stay calm under pressure and solve staffing, equipment, and service challenges quickly. Build a workplace culture centered on respect, accountability, teamwork, and pride. You'll Be a Great Fit If You Have kitchen leadership or restaurant management experience— and are ready to take the next step in your career. Have 3+ years' experience in restaurant/hospitality management Have a keen eye and attention to detail, organization and guest satisfaction Work well as a team with a proven leadership capabilities Understand food preparation, sanitation, inventory, and cost control. Lead with confidence, communicate clearly, and make smart decisions in a high-volume environment. Are dependable, organized, and comfortable holding yourself and others accountable. Can stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds. Hold a food-safety manager certification or are willing to obtain one. Can work a flexible schedule that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in menu ideation & creation Experience working with specialized private event menus and execution.
