Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our bustling restaurant operations with energy, enthusiasm, and a passion for exceptional service. As the driving force behind the restaurant's success, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and foster a welcoming environment for guests. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences while maintaining operational excellence. Responsibilities Lead and motivate the restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and uphold brand standards. Oversee daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, kitchen management, and front-of-house activities. Manage inventory control, food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health regulations. Supervise staff training, development, and performance evaluations to cultivate a high-performing team. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis, budgeting, and cost control measures. Coordinate shift management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours while maintaining quality standards. Conduct interviews and hiring processes to build a talented team aligned with the restaurant's values. Implement food safety management practices and oversee food handling procedures in accordance with industry standards. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. Skills Extensive experience in food service management within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS platforms. Proven ability in supervising teams, managing hospitality teams, and leading kitchen operations. Excellent communication skills for managerial tasks such as staff training, coaching, and customer interactions. Deep understanding of food safety standards, food production processes, and culinary techniques. Competence in inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and cost management strategies. Demonstrated leadership in managing hospitality teams with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations efficiently. Experience in managing catering events or banquet services is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to oversee shift management and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
