Assistant Manager - Restaurant

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to lead our restaurant team to excellence! In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, manage staff, and uphold food safety standards. Duties Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management to ensure smooth functioning. Lead and motivate team members through effective staff training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing hospitality team. Manage inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste to maximize profitability. Oversee POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling, order processing, and sales reconciliation. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food handling procedures to guarantee a safe dining environment for guests. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty. Conduct shift management duties including scheduling staff, managing labor costs, and ensuring operational efficiency during all service hours. Experience Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food production. Demonstrated supervisory or assistant manager experience within the food industry or hospitality sector. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales transactions and cash handling. Experience in managing inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively, manage teams confidently, and communicate managerial expectations clearly. Prior experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable; banquet or catering experience is a plus. Knowledge of food industry standards including culinary techniques, kitchen management, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices. Join us as an Assistant Manager
