Front of House Manager Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q - Schulenburg, TX Position Type Full-Time Competitive Pay Performance-Based Wage Increase Upon Completion of Training Position Overview Choke Canyon Bar-B-Q is looking for a motivated and professional Front of House Manager to help lead our dining room team. We are seeking someone with excellent leadership and customer service skills who can create a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the restaurant operates efficiently every day. This position will begin at our standard training pay while you learn our systems, service standards, and daily operations. Upon successful completion of training and demonstration of leadership ability, your hourly wage will increase. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience managing or supervising a restaurant front of house Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent customer service experience Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment Experience with scheduling and employee coaching preferred Reliable transportation Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift 30-40 pounds when needed Responsibilities Lead and supervise all front-of-house operations Ensure every guest is greeted immediately with a friendly attitude Deliver an exceptional customer experience from arrival to departure Train, coach, and develop front-of-house employees Monitor employee performance and maintain service standards Ensure dining room, beverage stations, bathrooms, and customer areas remain clean and fully stocked Assist with scheduling and daily staffing needs Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve issues quickly Ensure all employees follow food safety, sanitation, and company policies Monitor opening, running, and closing duties Assist with inventory of front-of-house supplies Work closely with kitchen management to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house Lead by example with professionalism, urgency, and accountability What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who understands that hospitality is more than taking orders—it's about creating an experience that keeps guests coming back.
