Job Description
Head Chef & Kitchen Manager Seasons Bakery & Café Seasons is seeking a confident, creative, and people-centered Head Chef to take ownership of our breakfast and lunch kitchen as we launch our second location in early 2027. After the military, My wife and I started a family based bakery and cafe and we are expanding to a second location. Our team is our priority and we care deeply about putting passionate people in positions where they can thrive. We believe hospitality is about more than serving excellent food. It is about creating a place where customers feel welcomed, employees feel valued, and the community is nourished through genuine care. We are looking for a culinary leader who shares that vision and wants to grow with a team-first company expanding into multiple locations. The Right Person It is imperative that you are passionate about food, hospitality, and the customer experience. You must main calm and confident in a busy kitchen, lead by example, and inspire your team to care equally about the food they prepare and the people they serve. You must value local farmers, seasonal ingredients, culinary creativity, and beautiful presentation. We want you want to take genuine ownership of a kitchen while working collaboratively within the larger Seasons team. Responsibilities Lead the daily operation of our breakfast and lunch kitchen. Build, train, and inspire a positive, team-first culinary staff. Maintain consistently excellent food quality, flavor, and presentation. Develop creative, approachable menu items that reflect the Seasons brand. Create efficient systems for preparation, service, ordering, inventory, and waste control. Maintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all food-safety standards. Manage food and labor costs while protecting quality and hospitality. Work closely with café leadership, front-of-house employees, bakers, and local suppliers. Take ownership of kitchen performance and solve problems calmly and confidently. Qualifications Professional kitchen leadership or management experience. Strong culinary instincts and a genuine love of excellent food. Proven ability to lead people in a fast-paced environment. Dependable, organized, and diligent, with a strong work ethic. Able to receive feedback, communicate clearly, and work collaboratively. Physically capable of working nine-hour kitchen shifts on your feet and safely lifting and moving typical kitchen supplies and equipment. Pay:
