Job Description

Job Summary:
The Food Services Manager is responsible for overseeing all Food Services in their assigned store including managing a team of baristas and deli staff, providing customer service and preparing customer orders as needed, monitoring and restocking inventory, and communicating with vendors. This individual will also delegate day-to-day operating activities of the food services staff in accordance with company image, profitability, customer service, safety, and personnel standards. They also ensure that all policies outlined in the Training Guide, Employee Handbook, and Safety Manual are followed. Duties and Responsibilities:
Food Services Operations (20%) Manages the day-to-day operations of the deli, coffee station, and grab-and-go food offerings; Ensures all food is properly prepared, packaged, labeled, and stocked for freshness and availability; Sets up and maintains clean, organized service areas, including sandwich prep counters, hot cases, and coffee stations; Oversees all ordering, receiving, and vendor communications for food services; Controls production and quantity of premade foods; Conducts daily sales and adjustments to purchasing, production, and labor; Rings up customer orders and prepare them as needed; and Works directly with customers to address any concerns. Team Management (40%) Manages barista and deli team members by delegating and ensuring timely completion of daily responsibilities; Responsible for recruitment, interviewing, and training store team members; Assists with implementing disciplinary action as needed; May be asked to support store staff, take calls or arrange coverage up to three (3) weekends per month; Assists in coordination of sales promotion activities and directs team members preparing displays and signage; Monitors team member compliance around established security, sales, safety, and record keeping procedures; Communicates Company policies to team members; Supports staff in customer service, stocking, cleaning duties, or other tasks as needed; and Promotes and supports Company image standards. Administration (40%) Assists with scheduling and resolving scheduling issues; Assist with documenting and recordkeeping of team member issues and incidents; Handles accident reports in a timely and efficient manner; Completes all necessary logs, worksheets and other data collecting records to account for cash receipts and store merchandise; Follows protocol as described in Company's IIPP when responding to emergency situations; and Enforces the Company's safety program and all safety regulations. Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent, required; Associate's degree preferred; Four (2) years of management experience, with the majority coming from food service At least one (1) year of food handling experience; Equivalent combination of education and experience; Strong leadership and supervisory skills; Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals; Ability to understand P&Ls Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; Comfortable presenting information in one-on-one and small group settings; Basic math skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply in all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, ratios and percentages; Must exhibit a high level of confidentiality; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills and ability to meet tight deadlines; Be a team player; Comfortable working with barista equipment including espresso machine, coffee grinders, brewers, etc.; Working knowledge of all standard Point of Sale equipment; High proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and Mobile Apps Working knowledge of all standard office equipment.
Compensation:
