We're looking for an Shift Supervisor who is dependable, confident, hands-on, and ready to take ownership of and oversee the day-to-day operation of the guest experience. The Shift Supervisor serves along side the General Manager and Crew Members to solve problems, make decisions, and ensure every shift meets Holly Bowls' standards for quality, cleanliness, hospitality, and efficiency. What You'll Do Lead the Team & Run the Floor Direct, assign and adjust team positions and responsibilities based on needs. Lead by example, maintain a positive, productive, and organized environment. Coach in real time, enforce expectations, recognize strong performance, and address concerns professionally. Ensure daily operational checklists are completed accurately and on time. Identify problems, make sound decisions, and communicate concerns to the GM. Deliver a Great Guest Experience Set the standard for friendly, attentive, and efficient service. Monitor order accuracy, speed of service, presentation, and overall guest experience. Professionally resolve guest or employee concerns. Step into any position needed to keep service running smoothly during busy periods. Maintain Quality, Food Safety & Cleanliness Ensure orders are prepared according to recipes, portions, and quality standards. Oversee daily prep, monitor product levels, freshness, rotation, storage, and waste. Enforce food-safety, sanitation, allergen, and cleanliness procedures. Keep guest-facing and back-of-house areas clean, stocked, and ready for service. Identify and immediately address quality or safety concerns. Manage Shift Operations Oversee POS and cash-handling procedures, including register setup, cash counts, refunds, voids, discounts, and closing procedures. Monitor inventory and communicate shortages or inventory concerns to the GM. Complete required shift documentation and provide clear communication about significant guest, staffing, equipment, or operational issues. What This Role Does Not Include This position focuses on leading the team and running store operations during assigned shifts. The General Manager retains responsibility for employee scheduling and payroll, placing regular inventory/vendor orders, store marketing, catering sales, overall store financial and administrative management. Who We're Looking For We want a leader who takes ownership and notices what needs to happen without always needing to be told. Keeps the team productive, recognize when a guest needs attention, catch a quality or cleanliness issue before it becomes a problem. Coachable & growth-minded, you welcome feedback and want to continue developing as a leader. Qualifications Previous restaurant, food-service, retail, or hospitality experience required. Previous Shift Leader, Supervisor, Key Holder, Assistant Manager, or comparable leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong leadership, customer-service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to confidently make decisions and lead the restaurant when the General Manager is not on site. POS and cash-handling experience preferred.
