Job Description

Brief:
The Team Lead is responsible for overseeing Front of House operations. Clear communication with Back of House leadership and store management is mandatory and necessary for the role. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training and delegating tasks to FOH employees, cleaning and organizing FOH, and adherence to brand standards and team culture. The overall goal is that this leader personifies the qualities we look for in our staff, builds/leads a team that operates the restaurant well, enjoys each other and the work, and is an advocate for their team and location.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Managing workflow of staff and delegating tasks Training new FOH hires Preparing plates with food safety and brand standards in mind Restocking product throughout scheduled shift Answering phones/taking phone orders Providing great customer service Continually wiping down service line Supporting other staff members Informing leaders of any low items in FOH Completion of applicable checklists Restocking greeter and cashier areas Providing leadership coverage to other Vessel Kitchen locations on occasion
Requirements/Qualifications:

Strong leadership skills A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure Decisive and critical thinker Able to delegate tasks, while also leading by example Able to work in a busy restaurant environment Ability to use restaurant technology systems
