Compensation for roles at Glanbia varies depending on a wide range of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. Glanbia provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in Illinois. This range may not be applicable to other locations. The hourly rate for Illinois based employees for this role is $26.25/hour ($25.50/hour + $0.75 shift differential)Benefits Include:

2:00pm-10:30pm Join the Glanbia Performance Nutrition team as a Lead. We are holding next-day interviews and have multiple shift opportunities available! When you join our manufacturing team, you will enjoy the chance to develop your career and stretch your skills in an environment that requires innovation, initiative, and teamwork! What you'll do: As a Lead, you will be responsible for leading, training, and organizing work activities for a team to be successful in their job duties. Every day, you can expect to: Ensure employee of the team practice safe work habits and follow safety rules Ensure that policies and procedures of that department are being followed in a consistent manner Report Safety, Quality, or Maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner Lead the department when the supervisor is absent and able to make decisions for that day Effectively communicate with other departments Know, Understand, Perform all job functions within the department Responsible for the completion of daily/monthly production/shipping/receiving reports. Perform daily audits in the assigned department covering Safety, Quality, and Department Specific Duties Promote team building (from shift to shift and cross- functional teams across departments)Training Train all employees on their specific job duties (proper documentation recorded) Organize and complete the required monthly training using the EHS Training System (Alchemy) Update procedures and SOP's (new and existing documents) Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): lab coat, safety shoes, safety glasses, bump cap, hearing protection, hair net, beard net, and nitrile gloves Perform other duties as assigned To thrive in this role, you must: Communicate effectively and lead a team of operations employees Trouble-shoot issues before making adjustments on the machines after training is completed Use Continuous Improvement methods to help solve issues (Why-Why, SMED) Organize break times, changeovers, call-offs, etc.
