Job Summary:

Join the Archway Management team, at the Sapphire at Northwoods healthcare organization in Belvidere, IL, as our Food Service Director (Healthcare). As a crucial member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will lead the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring exceptional patient care through a comprehensive food service program. Food Service Director (Healthcare) is a hands-on, full-time position that requires a passion for providing top-notch nutrition and hospitality services to our patients, residents, and staff.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the daily operations of the food service department, including meal planning, food production, and service delivery Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement nutrition care plans that meet patient needs and preferences Manage a team of food service staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as HIPAA and OSHA, as well as company policies and procedures Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of food and supplies Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and overall food service experience

Requirements:
