Shift Leader & Guest Services Associates - All Shifts Full Time & Part Time Positions Available Pay Rate 13.50 - $16.00 plus 3rd shift premium

Position Description:

The primary responsibility of a Shift Leader & Guest Services Associate at United Dairy Farmers is to provide outstanding service to every guest. Shift Leaders & Guest Services Associates are responsible for following company policy to ensure the safe and efficient operation of their shift. Shift Leaders & Guest Services Associates must be legally qualified under applicable state laws to conduct all sales transactions including alcohol and tobacco sales. They may be assigned on any shift.

Essential Functions:

Guest Service:

including greeting guests promptly, offering/providing assistance, suggestive selling, checking identification when selling age restricted products (

Note:

may not sell alcohol/tobacco products unless legally permitted to in the state where the store is located.), operating money order dispenser and credit card imprinter, ringing/bagging purchases, and saying "thank you".

Preparing DipSide products:

including preparation of shakes/malts, cups/cones of ice cream/yogurt, sundaes, sodas and "hand-packed" containers. Operating mechanical register or POS terminal, gas console: including properly authorizing and controlling gas sales, accurately registering all transactions, handling coins/currency/checks/coupons/food stamps and making change.

Stocking merchandise:

including keeping shelves, displays, milk box and freezers filled and faced, keeping dip cabinet filled, keeping coffee pots full, filling ice dispensers, properly rotating stock and checking code dates.
