In this role, you will lead a team of operators, ensure adherence to safety and quality standards, and troubleshoot equipment issues to maintain continuous production. Your leadership will drive productivity, uphold GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and promote a safe working environment in a fast-paced manufacturing setting dedicated to food production and packaging. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence manufacturing excellence while supporting team development and operational success. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of printing and packaging converting lines during the 2nd shift, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently Lead, motivate, and train team members on machine operation, safety protocols, and quality standards Monitor equipment performance, perform routine troubleshooting, and coordinate repairs with maintenance teams to minimize downtime Ensure compliance with safety standards, GMP regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand tools to manage raw materials and finished goods within the warehouse or production area Conduct inspections of machinery including packaging machines and industrial equipment to identify issues early and prevent defects or safety hazards Maintain accurate documentation related to production logs, incident reports, safety checks, and quality control measures Qualifications Proven experience operating manufacturing or industrial equipment in a food production or packaging environment Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively Familiarity with packaging machines, machine operation, and machining principles preferred Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to manufacturing processes Warehouse experience including material handling equipment operation such as forklifts and pallet jacks is highly desirable Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including GMP compliance and safety protocol adherence Hands-on experience with hand tools, industrial troubleshooting techniques, and maintaining safety standards in a manufacturing setting Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively in a fast-paced environment Join us as we strive for operational excellence by fostering a safe, efficient, and collaborative work environment.
