Duties Lead and supervise all culinary staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated team dedicated to delivering outstanding food experiences Oversee menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and innovation in every dish Manage food production processes, including food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques aligned with safety standards and sanitation procedures Maintain strict inventory control and inventory management practices to optimize costs while minimizing waste Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, sanitizing procedures, and health codes to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and safety Coordinate catering events, banquet services, and special functions with meticulous attention to detail and customer satisfaction Implement cost control measures related to food management, labor, and operational expenses to support overall financial health Oversee shift management, ensuring smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining high service standards Conduct regular staff training on food safety sanitizing procedures, food handling, and kitchen best practices Collaborate with management on menu planning that reflects current trends while meeting dietary restrictions and customer preferences Experience Proven experience in banquet operations, catering services, or fine dining establishments with a focus on high-quality food production Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced environments Extensive background in restaurant or hospitality management with strong leadership capabilities Familiarity with inventory management systems and cost control strategies within the food industry Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices Knowledge of food safety protocols including sanitizing procedures and proper handling of ingredients Experience managing dietary departments or specialized menus for diverse dietary needs is a plus Strong understanding of food service management principles including shift management and team supervision Ability to develop innovative menus that balance creativity with operational efficiency Join us as our Culinary Director/Manager to inspire culinary excellence!
