Allied Physicians Nassau Pediatric Associates Located in: Franklin Square, New York 11010 The Medical Receptionist/ Medical Assistant plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the medical practice. This dual-role position combines clinical support tasks with front-office administrative duties. The individual in this role provides both direct patient care and performs a range of office functions to ensure efficient patient flow, and an overall positive patient experience. Full-Time Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:30 AM- 6:00
PM Rotating Saturdays:
9:00 AM- 1:00 PM Compensation

Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support Duties:
Answer calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate patient flow within the medical office. Manage the check-in and check-out process for patients. Handle copays and balance dues efficiently. Maintain strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Clinical Support Duties:
Warmly greet patients and visitors. Collect patient information, document medical histories, and update patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems. Take and record vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight) and assist patients in preparing for examinations or procedures. Prepare, restock, and sanitize examination rooms and other patient care areas.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Medical Assistant is a plus At least one year of experience in medical office; pediatrics experience highly preferred. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems; experience with AthenaOne is a bonus.Compensation Range:
$20ph- 22ph The compensation range listed represents Allied Physicians Group's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this position at the time of posting.
