Job Description

Overview The Director of Dining Services is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of dining operations within our organization. This position requires a passionate and experienced individual who can create a vibrant dining experience for our residents while ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and service. The Director will lead a team of culinary and service professionals, manage inventory, and develop training programs to enhance staff performance. Duties Oversee daily dining operations, ensuring exceptional food quality and customer service. Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting dietary needs. Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations. Conduct staff training and development programs to enhance culinary skills and service excellence. Monitor inventory levels, manage purchasing, and control food costs effectively. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Evaluate dining services through guest feedback and implement improvements as necessary. Qualifications Proven experience in culinary arts, restaurant management, or a related field. Strong knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and inventory control practices. Experience in staff training and development with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with kitchen management practices including menu planning and cost control. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff, residents, and vendors.
