Job Description

Food Services Supervisor- Front of House Catering (Part-Time)Toledo Zoo & AquariumThe Toledo Zoo is currently seeking a Supervisor- Front of House Catering. The ideal candidate will possess a strong drive and an eagerness to take on new responsibilities and challenges. Under limited supervision, the Supervisor-Front of House Catering leads, and coordinates the activities and operations of all FOH catering areas. They lead subordinate staff in the execution of events, ensuring excellent customer service and meeting guest expectations. In addition, they adhere to all Toledo Zoo policies and procedures maintaining the cleanliness and safety of food service areas.

This position reports to the Senior Food Services Manger- Catering, is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is eligible for overtime pay for hours worked over forty (40) in a work week. Minimum Training and ExperienceMinimum of one to two years of experience in food services management, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the required skills knowledge and abilities.

Prefer degree in Food Service, Business, or related field.

Certification in food service sanitation preferred. Must be 21+ years of age.

Flexible schedule is a must, with the ability to work night and weekend hours.

Must have a valid drivers' license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
