Job Description

Dining Services Director The Dining Services Director is responsible for overseeing all dining operations. This role ensures high-quality food service, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and resident satisfaction while leading a team that delivers a welcoming and hospitality-driven dining experience. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management Recruit, train, and supervise dining and culinary team members. Promote a culture of hospitality and resident-focused service. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and team development. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards. Culinary & Service Excellence Oversee menu planning, meal preparation, and food presentation. Ensure meals meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs. Maintain consistent food quality and service standards. Coordinate special meals and dining events. Compliance & Financial Oversight Maintain compliance with health, safety, and food service regulations. Monitor sanitation standards and prepare for inspections. Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and inventory. Control food, labor, and supply costs. Resident Engagement Gather resident feedback and address dining concerns. Build positive relationships with residents and families to enhance the dining experience. Qualifications Experience in dining services leadership, hospitality, and healthcare Associate or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or Hospitality (preferred) Knowledge of food safety and dietary guidelines. ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
