- Supportive leadership team and collaborative work environment Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Night Supervisor to oversee nursing operations during the night shift.
- Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day nursing activities during assigned shift
- Provide leadership and support to LPNs, treatment nurses, and CNAs
- Coordinate and participate in resident care delivery
- Administer and oversee IV therapy and other skilled nursing services
- Conduct resident rounds and monitor changes in condition
- Perform skilled nursing assessments and interventions as needed
- Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate care
- Communicate resident status updates to physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Oversee admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Ensure physician orders are implemented accurately and timely
- Monitor clinical documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Review incident reports and ensure proper investigation and follow-up
- Conduct audits of medication carts, medication rooms, and clinical documentation
- Monitor infection control practices and regulatory compliance
- Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives
- Coach, mentor, and assist with the development of nursing staff
- Assist with staffing coordination and identifying staffing needs
- Participate in employee orientation, ongoing education, and training programs Qualifications Education & Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience .
