This role is vital in ensuring exceptional food quality, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering outstanding dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive culinary expertise, and a passion for hospitality. As a key player in our food service environment, you will manage food production, supervise kitchen staff, and coordinate catering and banquet services to delight our guests and uphold our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation, cooking, and presentation aligned with quality standards. Oversee menu planning, ensuring a variety of appealing options that meet dietary requirements and customer preferences. Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and ensure freshness of ingredients. Enforce strict adherence to food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper kitchen hygiene practices. Supervise shift management, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations of team members. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new recipes and improve existing dishes while maintaining consistency across all offerings. Skills Extensive culinary experience with a focus on fine dining, catering, or banquet service. Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food production, food service management, and restaurant operations. Expertise in inventory management, inventory control, and cost-effective food management practices. Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Familiarity with dietary department standards and food safety regulations. Experience in shift management, and kitchen organization within the food industry. Excellent cooking skills combined with knowledge of food handling procedures and hospitality standards.
