Preparing healthy, homemade meals that both meet the dietary needs of our residents and taste great? Providing leadership and mentoring for other dietary staff? If the answer is yes...we want to hear from you! Caring Places Management is actively recruiting for a Dietary Manager to join our Memory Care community, Hearthside Manor, in University Place, WA . This position reports directly to the Administrator and fills a crucial role within the community by overseeing and organizing the preparation and service of meals while making lasting connections with our residents, their families, and our exceptional care team.

Job Duties:
Provide leadership to the kitchen staff Oversee pre-meal and meal preparation, including ordering necessary supplies and meeting with vendors Manage all kitchen expenses (food, equipment, staff) within budget Assist with marketing and social events, including decorating the dining room area Responsible for meeting company standards for kitchen/dining room cleanliness and organization.
Requirements:
Must be able to work evenings & weekends Prior experience with cooking in an institutional setting; Strong leadership and communication skills; Able to use a computer when necessary; Able to understand and meet specialized dietary needs; Prior experience managing expenses within budgetary guidelines; Highly organized with a commitment to exceptional customer service; Must have a current Food Handler's Permit or obtain one prior to hire. !
