Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated and dependable Dietary Manager to join our team! In this role, you'll oversee the daily operations of our dietary department while helping ensure our residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals and an enjoyable dining experience. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the dietary department Lead, train, and support dietary staff Create and manage staff schedules Ensure meals are prepared and served according to menus and resident dietary needs Work closely with nursing and clinical staff regarding resident diets, preferences, and nutritional needs Monitor food quality, presentation, portion sizes, and meal service Manage food ordering, inventory, and proper food storage Maintain high standards for sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety Ensure compliance with facility policies and applicable regulations Address resident concerns and help create a positive dining experience Assist with staff education and ongoing department development What We're Looking For Previous dietary or food service experience Supervisory or management experience preferred Long-term care or healthcare experience is a plus Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate a team Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices Dependable, professional, and detail-oriented Someone who genuinely enjoys working with and caring for seniors Why Join Fairmont?
