Faith Advocate for Adoption About us An Open Door Adoption Agency (AOD) assists expectant mothers who find themselves facing an unplanned pregnancy and unsure of which path to take regarding her future and that of her baby's. AOD has been established and licensed as a private, non-profit, Christian agency since 1986. We maintain degreed and experienced adoption counselors who cover all of Georgia. An Open Door Adoption Agency, a Christian-based organization, is seeking a part-time , networking specialist , in the South GA area near Thomasville including Thomasville, Valdosta, Albany, Moultrie, Bainbridge, etc. Role Overview Part-time Faith Advocate for Adoption 30 hours per week $17.00 per hour 12-month contract (position may end after one year or when funds are expended) Primary Responsibilities Travel throughout the state of Georgia Build relationships and network with: Hospitals Crisis Pregnancy Centers (CPCs) Faith-based organizations Churches Educate churches and community partners about adoption Distribute Open Door educational and promotional materials Represent the organization professionally in the community Travel & Reimbursement Mileage reimbursement provided at federal mileage rate Lodging and meals reimbursed during travel Laptop provided for work Ideal Candidate Strong networking and relationship-building skills Comfortable speaking with diverse groups Friendly, outgoing, and a "people person" extrovert Experienced in community outreach and networking Willing and able to travel extensively across
