Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. Responsibilities Assist in food preparation and cooking, following established recipes and safety guidelines. Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring accuracy and adherence to dietary restrictions. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently, handling transactions with accuracy. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Provide exceptional guest services by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours. Support sales initiatives by promoting menu items and upselling when appropriate. Qualifications Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar systems is a plus. Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A passion for culinary arts and willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
