$19.75 PLUS TIPS Serve as the server at the Community Association at Sun City Palm Desert. Provide friendly, responsive food and beverage service to create an exceptional dining experience for all residents and guests. Primary objective is to show our customers such a marvelous time; they will want to return again and again. Ensure that all support and service is conducted and fulfilled in a manner that is consistent with the standards, goals and objectives of the Community Association.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up side station and performs assigned side work.
• Provide immediate attention to all residents / guests upon seating in a polite and welcoming manner.
• Welcome, introduce and take drink orders.
• Refill glasses with ice water; answer questions and suggest menu items.
• Take residents / guests food orders when applicable.
• Inform cooks about any special cooking instructions.
• Assemble food on tray; procure items from each station as necessary.
• Capable of carrying at least 25 pounds on a tray and in the correct manner.
• Serve meal; place dishes by courses in front of each person.
• Check back to ensure resident / guest satisfaction; replenish water and butter as necessary.
• Remove soiled dishes.
• Serve dessert, coffee, and after dinner drinks.
• Handle all cash, credit card and resident card charges as prescribed by Standard Operating Procedures.
