This full-time, onsite contract position specializes in speech-language pathology, serving a caseload that is primarily mild to moderate, with some students presenting more severe challenges and incorporating augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Illinois SLP license (required for this role) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Experience working in a school setting (preferred) In-depth understanding of speech-language assessment and intervention strategies Proficiency with AAC device programming and training is beneficial Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational and communication skills District and state-specific credentials as required

Core Responsibilities:

Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students in grades K-12 Evaluate and monitor student progress using evidence-based practice Develop, write, and maintain IEP goals and documentation Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student outcomes Provide guidance and support for classroom integration of AAC technology Participate in eligibility and annual review meetings as an active member of the educational team Adapt interventions to meet the range of student needs and backgrounds
