On Friday and Saturday evenings, guests can enjoy live jazz, creating a lively and unique atmosphere. We also host private events in our back room, giving our team the opportunity to work a variety of dining and event experiences. We're Looking For We're looking for an enthusiastic, personable, and dependable Server & Hostess to join our team in a part-time capacity.

This hybrid role requires flexibility:

you will be scheduled as a hostess on certain days to welcome guests and manage the floor, and as a server on other days to take care of dining room guests.

Responsibilities When Hosting:

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, manage reservations and the waitlist, and seat guests efficiently to ensure smooth floor flow Answer phone inquiries and assist with guest management and seating arrangements

When Serving:

Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, making recommendations when appropriate Deliver food and drinks promptly and professionally Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining and reception area Communicate effectively with the kitchen, bar, and other team members Process guest checks and payments accurately when serving Assist with setup, greeting, and service for private events Follow restaurant standards for food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality What We're Looking For Previous restaurant serving and/or hosting experience preferred Comfortable and willing to work as a hostess on certain shifts and a server on others as scheduled Excellent customer service and communication skills Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment Able to remain calm, welcoming, and professional during peak hours Knowledge of food, wine, and cocktails is a plus Availability for Friday and/or Saturday evenings is strongly preferred Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed What We Offer $16.90 per hour + tips Part-time schedule A fun, lively atmosphere with live jazz Friday & Saturday Opportunities to work private events A welcoming team environment Opportunity to build diverse front-of-house experience in a beautiful Sausalito setting Interested in joining the Notte Divino team?
