Sever! We are seeking a guest-oriented individual to join our team as a Server at beer garden located at our brand-new Residence Inn in Wilmington, DE! Competitive Pay Marriott Discounts Health Benefits Paid Time Off/ Vacation Time Holiday Pay Key Responsibilities Greet all guests (internal and external) in a friendly, professional manner Provide exceptional guest service and respond to requests promptly Strong knowledge of the restaurant menu and drink selection Take guest orders, enter them into the PMS system, and deliver within a timely manner Provide attentive and pro-active service to all guests Process payment and issue proper change when applicable Ensure accurate reporting and processing of all checks and receipts Complete side-work and cleaning duties in accordance with company and brand standards Follow all safety and operational standards Maintain a high level of professional appearance in accordance with brand standards and consistent attendance Keep work areas clean and organized Adhere to all company policies and procedures and consistently exemplify company values in all interactions Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service experience preferred Availability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays required Skills & Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, percentages, etc.) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Physical Requirements Regularly stand, walk, and use hands for extended periods Frequently reach with hands and arms Occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects Ability to use various cleaning equipment Must have close and distance vision, color vision, and focus abilityBenefits
