Job Description

Server/Waitstaff Join a professional team and work in Sarasota's premier semi-private country club and residential gated community - University Park Country Club. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, be flexible and dependable, and perform excellent customer service. UPCC, has a stellar reputation and is a semi-private country club that serves approximately 1200 residents in 32 communities, as well as, banquet events. If you enjoy working in a fast-pace, team environment that strives for excellence in food and customer service, this is the opportunity for you. Position Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Set the tables and rooms for a la carte service and events Complete opening and closing side work in a timely fashion Understand and sell the menus (both food and beverage) ; offering specials; understanding food allergies/substitutions with menu items Ensure prompt and polite service to the members and guests Follow health and sanitation policies; current policy requires employees to work with a mask on at all times Work as a team with all FOH and BOH employees Adhere to appearance/grooming standards of the club Handle guest compliments and complaints; informing management of feedback
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of food and beverage Able to speak and write in English fluently Have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Capable of carrying and lifting 25 pounds.
