Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests are noted. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation. Manage guest needs throughout their visit, including refilling drinks, addressing concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction. Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, process payments, and give correct change. Maintain cleanliness of tables, stations, and service areas; assist with bussing tables and food handling as needed. Follow food safety protocols and sanitation standards to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff. Utilize reservation platforms like OpenTable to manage bookings efficiently when applicable. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food delivery and resolve any order discrepancies. Demonstrate excellent guest relations by creating a memorable dining experience that encourages repeat visits. Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving or host/hostess positions. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of fine dining service techniques or nightclub hospitality is a plus. Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales performance Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial but is not required; enthusiasm for learning about food preparation is appreciated.
