Assisted Living community is seeking full time and part time servers for our dining room. This position is under the direct supervision of the food service director. The individual in this position will be responsible for the serving of meals and the cleaning of the dining room. Assists the food service director with the receiving and storing of deliveries and assists with maintaining kitchen equipment and keeping the area safe and clean.

Daily Tasks:

Ensures menu boards are correct Ensures "open & closed" signs are set appropriately Ensures tables and chairs are clean and placed properly Assists resident aide staff with serving of meals Buses tables Vacuums and cleans dining area daily Sets the table for next meal (ensures cleanliness of dishes and flatware on tables) Works as part of the food service team to ensure smooth, efficient and safe operation of the kitchen Makes copies of menu selection sheets and places them in table menu holder prior to meal Stays in assigned section while serving in the dining room Follows fine dining guidelines provided in training & by food service director
