Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sever to join our vibrant hospitality team! In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable dining experience. Whether taking orders, serving food and beverages, or assisting guests with their needs, you will play a vital role in fostering guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards for fine dining or casual settings Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting food safety protocols Assist with food preparation, food handling, and kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth service flow Use reservation management tools like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightlife venues such as nightclubs Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods Previous host/hostess experience or serving background preferred Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing Knowledge of food industry standards including food preparation, upselling techniques, and guest services Experience with restaurant management tools such as OpenTable is a plus Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join our team where your energy fuels an exciting environment!
