Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to foster a friendly environment Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales by recommending specials or popular dishes Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering and cash handling procedures, including basic math calculations for bills and tips Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to support smooth restaurant operations Qualifications Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles, including serving, host/hostess duties, or nightclub service preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus for understanding food preparation processes Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude Basic math skills for cash handling and bill calculations; experience with cashiering is advantageous Open availability for evening shifts, weekends, and nights to accommodate restaurant hours Join us if you're passionate about hospitality and eager to create memorable dining moments!
