Food Service Reports to: Kitchen Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
Provides customer service while taking food orders, serving and preparing food in the Food Service department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(responsibilities include, but are not limited to): Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact. Keeps workstation clean and organized by dusting, wiping, and sweeping area. Makes sandwiches by request of customers Tracks food inventory, alert cooks and refill food counter if needed Plates meals for customers, with correct portioning Verifies/balances register till at the beginning and end of shift. Accepts/Processes payment from customer in the form of cash, credit, debit, ebt, and check Verifies and processes coupons Maintains register accuracy, knows/ carries out proper register procedures Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager
OTHER DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
: Use of proper safety procedures Mark down and pull products from floor if needed Able to listen to directions and follow through independently Good communication and observation skills
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION
: High school / Secondary school diploma or GED Must be 18 years of age to ring register per company policy Possesses a food handling license

: Working with the public Time management skills
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Air condition while in store, subject to heat when around hot food and chill temperatures if products need to be retrieved from chill Very fast paced at times
