Job Description

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking an engaging, customer-focused and team oriented Waithelp staff to join our team at the Banker's Club. In this role, the Waithelp will deliver high-quality service to members and guests of the Banker's Club by providing attentive, accurate and professional dining support. This role is responsible for order service, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and supporting both front and back-of-house operations to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Compensation:

The pay range for this role is $17.00

•$22.50/hr; commensurate with experience.

Work Schedule:

Monday

•Friday 6:30AM

•3:00PM; (hours may vary) The ideal candidate will have: High school diploma/GED or equivalent required 2 years of experience in a waithelp, server assistant or similar support role required 3+ years of experience in waithelp, server assistant or similar support role, within a high-end dining, hotel, or executive dining environment preferred Post-secondary coursework or certification(s) in hospitality, food service, culinary arts, or hotel/restaurant management preferred Demonstrated ability to deliver professional, attentive guest service and build positive guest relationships Strong verbal communication skills; able to interact clearly and professionally with guests and team members Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to service standards and operational needs Ability to multi-task, prioritize work, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Strong teamwork skills with a collaborative approach to supporting both front and back-of-house operations Reliable and punctual with strong time management and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information with appropriate discretion Physical ability to stand and walk for extended period and to lift/carry trays, equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay:

$17.00

•$22.50 per hour
