Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Waitstaff/Server to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver exceptional dining experiences by providing attentive service, sharing your wine/beer and culinary knowledge, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your enthusiasm and professionalism will help ensure each guest leaves satisfied and eager to return. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your food industry expertise while working in a lively, fast-paced environment that values teamwork and guest satisfaction. Must be available to work Wednesday - Saturdays from 3:45pm- 12am (rarely later). Other days may be asked for special events from time to time if you are available. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival. Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing POS system Square, ensuring all special requests are noted clearly. Serve food and drinks efficiently, including, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety. Upsell menu items, including premium wines and specialty dishes also to-go wines, to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately while handling cash register operations and balancing receipts at shift end. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; bus tables promptly to keep the dining area organized. Also, keeping back bar clean of dishes, as you clean your own dishes from your tables. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on wine pairings, beer options, and menu items to elevate the guest experience. Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is recommended; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Square is desirable, but we will train. Strong knowledge of wine, beverage service, and speedy service a plus; culinary experience is advantageous. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest relations. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately; food handling and sanitation certifications are preferred. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment. Join our team if you're passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences!
