Lifespace Communities, a nonprofit senior living organization, is seeking a caring Server to support resident-first dining experiences. In this onsite role, you'll greet residents and guests, take accurate orders, and serve meals that meet dietary, safety, and sanitation standards. You'll partner closely with kitchen and care teams to ensure timely, friendly service, respond to special requests, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining room. Responsibilities Greet residents and guests, present menus, and explain daily specials Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into POS system Serve meals and beverages following dietary, safety, and sanitation standards Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely, accurate order delivery Monitor resident needs, respond to requests, and communicate concerns to care teams Clear, sanitize, and reset tables and dining areas between seatings Follow food-handling, hygiene, and infection-control procedures Handle basic payment processes and reconcile checks as needed Support special events and catered functions within the community Participate in ongoing training and contribute to a resident-first service culture Required Skills Table service POS system operation Food safety and sanitation Basic nutrition and dietary awareness Order taking and accuracy Customer service in senior living or healthcare Cash handling and check reconciliation Infection control practices Communication with clinical and kitchen teams Time management in high-volume dining
