Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage options to enhance their dining experience Accurately take customer orders using POS systems such as Digital Dining, ensuring special requests are noted and communicated clearly to the kitchen Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction Manage cash handling, process payments accurately, and operate cashiering systems with efficiency and integrity Maintain cleanliness of tables, bar areas, and service stations by bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices in accordance with food safety standards Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, supporting overall restaurant operations Use reservation systems like OpenTable to manage guest seating efficiently in busy environments such as fine dining or nightclubs Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a memorable visit for every guest Requirements Previous experience in food service or restaurant roles is preferred; experience in fine dining or nightclubs is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems Demonstrated culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and handling practices Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy shifts Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures Ability to perform basic math for billing, cash handling, and inventory purposes Previous host/hostess or serving experience is beneficial; experience in bussing or guest services is valued Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or nights as required in vibrant hospitality settings such as restaurants or nightclubs Join us in creating extraordinary experiences through energetic service!
