Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team at Te Fiti Tiki, a fast-paced bar and dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food and beverage offerings. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests while ensuring efficient service and adherence to food safety standards. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated. Take accurate food and beverage orders using Square POS systems, ensuring all requests are met. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, and make recommendations to enhance the guest experience through upselling techniques. Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality. Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, addressing any concerns or requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices to ensure a safe dining environment. Process payments accurately through cash handling procedures while providing excellent guest relations. Skills Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in fine dining or high-volume establishments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests. Familiarity with restaurant management software is preferred. Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours. Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated in a fast-paced environment. Previous host/host or bussing pr serving experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
