Provide friendly, professional and responsive service to create an exceptional experience for all of our guests and clients. Servers must have a teamwork spirit with excellent communication skills.Duties & Responsibilities:
Familiarize yourself with every aspect of the building and facilities, including operational plans, emergency plans, ingress and egress routes and service paths. Familiarize yourself with your responsibilities as described on the event BEO and in the pre-shift meeting. Identify and anticipate potential weaknesses and be proactive in heading off problems before they occur. Welcome and greet guests. Introduce yourself. Make all our guests feel comfortable and let them know you're there to personally take care of them. Inform guests of menu selections and be able to answer questions about the menus. Inquire about and confirm allergies or dietary restrictions. When providing butler beverage service, accept and execute beverage orders and any special request in a timely and courteous manner. Be prepared to make recommendations you genuinely feel your guests will enjoy. Answer questions about our food, beverages and other facility functions and services. Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as required by service station assignment. Maintain clean service areas constantly and consistent with instructions coming from the Event Captain or General Manager. Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests. Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise. Be ready and willing to assist with clearing and resetting tables. Thank guests for allowing us the privilege of serving them. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the event as directed by the event manager or immediate supervisor.Qualifications:
Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions. Be able to work in a walking or standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
