Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Server to join our team. As a Server, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.Duties:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver orders to tables promptly and accurately
- Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to increase sales
- Ensure tables are properly set up with utensils, napkins, and condiments
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Process payments using POS system
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Knowledge of food handling safety regulations
- Familiarity with OpenTable or other reservation management systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
