Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while efficiently managing food orders and transactions. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure customer satisfaction will be key to our success. Duties Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately. Process transactions using the Aloha POS system, ensuring accuracy in billing. Assist in food preparation and presentation, adhering to food handling safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen. Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items to enhance the dining experience. Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during peak hours. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and communication. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Qualifications Previous experience in food service or culinary roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to handle food safely, following all hygiene regulations. Excellent time management skills, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of basic sales techniques to enhance customer engagement. A passion for food preparation and an eagerness to learn about culinary practices is desirable.
