A'mora Patisserie is looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented team member to join us as a Counter Attendant, Cashier & Barista! In this role, you will be the welcoming face of our bakery—guiding guests through our selection, crafting beverages, and ensuring every customer has a wonderful experience in a clean, inviting environment.
Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Hospitality:
Warmly greet guests, answer questions about our baked goods, and deliver attentive service from the moment they walk through the door. Knowing the menu and be able to explain to the customers.
Bakery Bar & Order Service:
Walk customers through our display from one end of the pastry bar to the cashier, carefully selecting, packaging their treats, and suggestively offering menu pairings.
POS & Cash Handling:
Accurately input orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, process cash and card payments, and manage change with precision. Learn new POS features as updates are introduced.
Espresso & Beverage Preparation:
Safely operate, clean, and maintain the coffee machine to craft specialty espresso drinks and beverages.
Store & Food Safety Maintenance:
Maintain a spotless storefront by cleaning tables, wiping counter lines, sanitizing surfaces, and upholding high food safety and hygiene standards throughout the shift.
Basic Food Prep Support:
Assist with light food handling or kitchen prep tasks as needed to keep the display fully stocked and operations running smoothly.
Opening & Closing Duties:
Morning (7:30 AM arrival): Set up the bakery display, prep the front counter, and prepare the store to open at 8:00 AM. Afternoon (~4:30 PM departure): Close shop at 4:00 PM, sanitize the space, restock, clean equipment, and complete daily closing checklists.

Dependable about morning arrival times (7:30 AM sharp) and consistent attendance.
Independent & Proactive:
Able to work confidently on solo shifts, take initiative during quiet moments, and multitask efficiently during busy rushes.
Detail-Oriented:
Takes pride in maintaining a clean workspace, accurate cash handling, and beautiful product presentation.
Strong Communication & Math Skills :
Friendly demeanor with basic retail math skills for accurate register transactions.
Prior Experience:
Quick-service restaurant, bakery, or barista experience is a plus, but we are happy to train anyone with a positive attitude and strong work ethic!
