Duties Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements, providing a friendly and professional first impression Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring prompt processing of sales transactions Serve food and drinks with precision, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, while maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments efficiently, and give correct change using POS systems Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns promptly Requirements Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments, including fine dining or nightclub settings preferred Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of beverage service, cocktail mixing, spirits, wine varieties, and food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and the ability to build guest relations Effective time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices in the food industry Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed Previous experience in hospitality or guest services roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Join us in creating an energetic atmosphere where every guest leaves delighted!
