We have an opportunity for a friendly and detail orientated individual to join our Food and Beverage service team at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside Hotel! This is a year-round Banquets position with a focus on weekday day shifts! Our Service Staff have an important role in providing exceptional service for guests during a la carte service as well as business/group meetings, galas and social events such as weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers, etc. Daily activities of Banquet Servers include tasks such as setting up tables (glassware, plate ware and silverware) and buffets, refreshing food and beverage buffets, serving food and beverage, bussing tables, breaking down and properly storing and caring for banquet equipment, cleaning and maintaining function spaces, responding to guest requests in a timely manner, etc. Qualifications for Banquet Server position includes the ability to work a flexible part-time schedule during the week; the ability to walk/stand for up to 5 hours at a time, and the ability to lift/move up to 30 lbs. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Base Pay:

$25.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 - 24.0 per week
